Many of the items in this section use handcrafted pendants and beads from Nepal. These beads/pendants use the traditional Nepalese gemstones of Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli and Red Coral, set with either brass or silver alloy. I buy these beads from a family-owned business in Nepal which supports several jewellery artisan families. Supporting these traditional jewellery crafts is important because more and more of the traditional methods are being lost. As well, many Nepalese have to work abroad to support their families, so buying handcrafted Nepalese jewellery is one way to allow them to support themselves at home while keeping their arts alive.

All fully beaded necklaces come with companion earrings but earrings (and bracelets) can be made to go with any of the necklaces if you desire. Postage is $2.50 per item but may be less if multiple items are ordered - please ask.
